Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how to change the MAX TDP in the bios? I tried to follow the various steps as already indicated in other topics but cpuz continues to always show me 45.

My V29 bios is set to "Performance Mode" and as we can see in the screenshot, the Max TDP goes up to almost 90W under full load. Cpu-Z indicates 45W at idle. I get scores of 18033 in multi core on Cinebench R23.

Eliaslaflame;

+1

I would love to understand how Max TDP works on the GTR7 Pro, I tried what was on the other topic, did not seem to work. I have for now the Bios GTRP5C6V31. Don't see how to change the TDP... with this Bios..... I'm only at 45w

I dont understand why bee-link makes this a mystery ...

> BIOS
> Advanced
> OEM Features Management
> Power Limit Settings
> Balance Mode (thats 54W) or Performance Mode (thats 65 W)

Use something like "Core Temp" while make a test with Cinebench and you see, what is really used

Hello there,
The turbo TDP only will reach to 65W automatically during using.It will not reach to 65w immediately after setting it up.And it will automatically reach to 65w only when it needs to reach to 65w.
