Hi everyone.

Last week I bought an EQ12 on Amazon.

I am having issues with USB 3.2 gen 2 ports, all of them. If I try to connect an external USB 3.2 gen 2 disk - tried with different disks made by different manufactures - I am unable to format it or transfer anything, I keep on having I/O errors all the time.

Tried with both Unix and Windows 11, Amazon even replaced the whole computer but I have the same issue. External drives of course work perfectly on other computers.

This happens ONLY with 3.2 gen 2 drives.

Any suggestion? I would like not to return and get a refund...

I think that you can try to update the driver for your EQ12 from the official website. This driver can solve some blue screen problems and may also fix the USB 3.2 gen 2 issues.

drivers are updated. The issue is still there, even on Unix.

I've EQ12 too [16/512] version and I've updated my Windows 11 to 22H2 build. Maybe that helps?

I've a m.2 2TB Inland NVME inside a Orico 20Gbps enclosure and getting 750-800 MBps from the front USB ports.
