Good thing I make my own ROM or else I would be really upset.  I make my own fixes. But this is pretty bad that Beelink isn't providing equal support for the same box just different SN/chipset.

I haven't seen an actual fix, or a good workaround for the dark screen. I seen utilities to adjust the brightness and contrast levels. However they fail to even come close to what the screen is suppose to be like... visually. Waste of time including Screen Brightness and Contrast adjusters, completely useless.

If I had an Ultimate GT1 box I would try to fix the box for the dark screen. I don't use any apps to adjust my brightness nor contrast. But we'll have to see if Beelink actually comes out with a fix hopefully soon. I know they know of it. I think they are just having problems getting it going. Other companies have done it like Minix so if I had a problem I couldn't figure out I would ask for help or at least some guidance as to how to. This has been going on for way tooo... long now.

Well, if Android 7 has actually been corrected on the OS level. That would be awesome, however like you said.. It's still beta and with issues, not going to be using beta. I'll wait for the stable release first, hopefully not much longer?!? :P

This is crypted talk I'm seeing from you. You don't need the Ultimate box. If it worked for the standard GT1, it'll work for the Ultimate. My guess is, you've used the ' WORKAROUND ' that renders Netflix app useless.

I don't know what you mean by crypted talk. But anyways I have not used that method you talk about because I'm a big user of the Netflix app. So I don't use that method at all. I use Hulu and Netflix and what you're talking about would make them not work. I was just mentioning the ultimate box because I see a lot of people here complaining about this darkness issue as well. I would make my own custom ROM for this box if I had one that's all I'm saying. Asking any of my users of my ROM they will tell you that my ROM works with Netflix and Hulu and also I don't have a bootvideo enabled either. So this you mention is not it at all.

The GT1 Standard has the same dark screen issue. Not specific to GT1 Ultimate boxes.

If your ROM works, you should know what the difference is. If you didn't enable bootvideo workaround, I doubt the dark screen issue is correctly addressed.

I understand and I know that both boxes have the dark screen issue this is known. This is not needed to be said. I was just saying I would make a ROM for the ultimate if I had one too. That is all. You have the right to state your opinion so we're good. Good talking to you.
