Thanks khalid. I've seen that, and seen also you recommending that on here before. However, I prefer officially released ROM firmwares or firmware updates.

Also remember even though this here forum says GT1, it is also used by GT1 Ultimate customers... as intended I suppose anyways. ALVATECH made it perfectly clear that the ROM firmware is for ONLY GT1 standard NOT FOR GT1 Ultimate boxes.

How does a common rookie out here fix the issue for every single movie or TV show or IPTV chanbel. I have the GT1 ultimate and it is a great box but it makes everything unwatchable. If I don't get an answer or a fix I will be returning this box. I have searched everywhere to try and find fix and I cant. I have the G912 serial number.

Just a follow-up to my earlier post regarding the dark video issue. Anyone who uses the boot video workaround, I have discovered direct link between Netflix AND ANY VERSION OF this APP (5.x or even 4.x) and not being able to play Netflix content.

If you don't apply the boot video tweak, Netflix latest app will play contents.

The need for a firmware patch to address this dark video issue without resorting to a workaround and using bootvideo, it's now very important. Several people bought Beelink GT1 Ultimate boxes for one of the soul purposes is to watch Netflix with their subscription.

Root Browser which was mentioned on this topic. You have other options besides, but you won't be-able to use the pre-included file manager. The OP expected people to have basic knowledge of browsing the system directory and a have file manager which covers root privileges.

The issue I see with people enabling the boot video is that netflix and hulu don't work. Thank you Khalid for recommending my ROM. Yes my ROM is for GT1 only and not for the GT1 Ultimate. I do feel Beelink should come up with a solution though for this bug. Hope to see one soon.

They fixed the WiFi issue. They fixed the Google Play Store. So kudos to Beelink here! However, the dark screen problem existed for a great long while now, and still nothing to show. This is serious because it makes it difficult to see and enjoy different photos and videos. Considering what these boxes suppose to be for, we really getting the worse end of the stick. The other guys have addresses this problem, and without needing to use bootvideo setting.

I don't see why they don't give updates to the A912 SN boxes fore example the latest 113M0. I have ordered this box six different times for different people and myself and each time I order this box they always send me the A912 box. So not sure why they wouldn't update this ROM at the same time they make a new ROM for QCA9377 chipset. You figure they would especially if they seem to only be sending out the A912 boxes now.
