Just tested and its working. I skip to step 4. No need to replace video file

I did the same and now the dark scene problem is fixed...

So step 4 is really all needed to fix the problem
(Remember to check if the video file is present, just to be sure)

Use rootbrowser to replace the bootvideo

I can confirm that the only thing you need to do, is step 4.

I am so happy that the dark screen problem is finally over.

On the 110 new firmware for beelink Gt1 the screen is not dark anymore all Works well nice contrast and brightness
if your ota failed to install do a system reset and then the update will come again and this time will install  --- for me worked i have Gt1 A912 chip. working well with 110 firmware
