1. Download the archive h**ps://yadi.sk/d/94s27z7L33Uxuf
Select any video file!
2. Rename the video file to "bootvideo"(with empty file extension).
3. Copy to Folder
\ System \ etc \

Confirm the replacement if necessary
3. Expose the permissions 644 (rw-r - r--), if they are different.
4. In the file
\ System \ build.prop
Modify
service.bootvideo = 1

The issue I see with people enabling the boot video is that netflix and hulu don't work. Thank you Khalid for recommending my ROM. Yes my ROM is for GT1 only and not for the GT1 Ultimate. I do feel Beelink should come up with a solution though for this bug. Hope to see one soon.

Enabling bootvideo and replacing that bootvideo file made Kodi (v17) brightness and contrast functionality to work.

Nice find!

Will this change the boot video animation?

Disregard my previous post. Apparently with fw106 beelink is rooted and has full root access.
I followed your steps and this problem is finally solved.

Many thanks.

After applying this fix it appears Kodi (v17) brightness/contrast controls do not work with my 8-bit HEVC file (but it looks ok).
