Bought 2 of these systems for relatives. One system failed about a year ago. The onboard M.2 died. I didn’t have another, and reinstalled in a SATA drive, not thinking much about it. I did keep the M.2 device.
The 2nd one failed recently. The M.2 device is dead. I had another M.2 device & it isn’t recognized. I took the 1st failed M.2 device, and the 2nd M.2 device, and tried them in a different system. Neither of them are recognized.
In decades of working with computers, I have never seen anything like this. |
