I recently purchased a GTi14 with the Ex Docking Station and upgraded it with 96 GB Crucial DDR5 RAM. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing severe stability issues that make the system nearly unusable, so this is turning into one of the worst financial decisions I've made if I can't resolve them. I'm hoping someone from the manufacturer team or community can help.

Current Problems:

1. Frequent system crashes/freezes (approximately hourly)
2. Mass USB device disconnections that last several minutes before devices reconnect
3. Severe system slowdowns, often preceding crashes
4. "File not found" errors when attempting to open files with Windows default applications (Photos, Notepad) - files open fine in third-party applications
5. Initial boot failure after a period of disuse (resolved via system restore point)

System Configuration & Context:

- Transferred SSD with Windows 11 install and apps from previous system

- Manually installed drivers from GTi.zip

- Updated to BIOS firmware GTi14T105_2024-09-04_7-25-02

- Using Ex Docking Station

- 96 GB Crucial DDR5 RAM (replaced stock RAM)

Important Notes:

- These issues occur under minimal load (browser, VPN client, password manager, basic background services). Previous system with weaker specs handled far heavier workloads without problems

- Problems seemed to begin after returning from a two-week vacation. I had left the PC powered on for access to my Plex server, but it seems that at some point it crashed

Potential Driver Installation Questions:
Several driver folders from the GTi.zip downloadable lacked installation executables, and I couldn't find clear installation instructions for:

- 5_npu folder

- 6_PMT folder

- Intel(R)_SST_MTL_v20.40 folder

- MTL-Prod-SV2-SV1-WIN10 folder

So I skipped those. Perhaps the issues are related to these missing drivers?

The BIOS update process also differed somewhat from the tutorial provided on the website, though it appeared to complete successfully.
I would greatly appreciate guidance on:

1. Proper installation procedures for the drivers lacking executables

2. Verification of proper BIOS installation

3. Any known issues that might cause these symptoms

Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Insights from the manufacturer team would be especially welcome, as the current state of the PC is completely unacceptable. I'm over $1500 in the hole on a machine that is currently performing more poorly than laptops that have cost me $200.

While this won't fix my issues, I also need the Windows 11 activation key since I used my own SSD, and the copy of Windows that I had installed on it was not eligible for transfer to another machine.

Same issue here. Bought two SODIMMs Crucial 48GB DDR5 - 5600 1.1V CL46 (CT48Q56C46S5) get kernel crashes (sometimes directly when booting, sometimes after have an hour or so). If I take out one module, the system is stable.

Would love to have a solution as it is indeed a bad investment. Original SODIMMS are also 1.1V CL46 so would expect the dimms to be perfect for the system.
