How do I find out which version of firmware is currently installed on my GT1?

How do I find out what the latest version of firmware is currently available for my GT1?

I received a notification on my GT1 that a new firmware version was available over OTA.

I chose to download the new version of firmware which completed sucessfully.

I then chose to update my GT1, which failed, I ended up with the dead android displayed on the screen with the text 'Error!' displayed under the dead android, no further information or instructions were displayed.

From memory:-

1. I believe my current version of GT1 firmware was reported by the update process as dated 3rd September

2. The date of the firmware that failed to update was 30th September

Thankfully when I disconnected and reconnected the power cable my GT1 rebooted and works.

I would appreciate a response to my questions and a recommended way forward.

Kodi creators thinking wrong. I said again they want donations but soon somebody else will create so ...

They are not talking about kodi rules, but about the standard that processors are made for the Android system. (Completely different thing)

.oO(Yes I do know that KODI hates all the boxes like this one as they think they are used for pirated movies and games, but that is not the issue why KODI don't want to support AMLogic chips anymore)

My GT1 which I ordered and received in December 2016, S/N:G9128KKE70055 16G,  is showing as Build - GT_103MO in settings?

Is GT_103MO and old build on a new box?

Just I see people asking for version 107 to be released.

Update:-

Removed SD card but left my one USB dongle plugged in as this is for my air mouse remote.

Two OTA updates worked, so that's three OTA updates successful since I received the GT1.

The first update, which took me to build GT1_103M0 was successful before I posted my issue, even with the SD Card installed.

The two updates since taking out my SD Card were:-

MHC19J.20160930 and MHC19J.20161024

The last update taking my build to GT1_106M0, which from what I have read is the last released GT1 firmware version.

I have never had the flashing pink/green screen.

The only time I get what I think is a solid green (I am colour blind) is when I play a 4K .mp4 video via Kodi, sound is OK but video is just a solid green screen. If I press a button on my remote, forget which one, the green screen disappears for a second or two and I can see the video is playing the background.

If I play the same 4K .mp4 video not using Kodi all is OK.

Thanks for tip on removing SD Card which for me worked a treat.

Possible options:
Upgrade your KODI to 17 Beta 6 (not found on google play)
Install SPMC 16.5.5 (not found on google play)
FTMC does work as well (Haven't tried it myself) (not found on google play)

SPMC and FTMC both works with AMLogic codec on, KODI 17+ has been rewritten so KODI 17+ won't support AMLogic chips anymore.

Kodi creators thinking wrong. I said again they want donations but soon somebody else will create something free and better than kodi. I want to see their faces then. The excuse that the amlogic companies they are not following the kodi rules are silly.

What is the issue for them and they don't put to kodi the amcodec acceleration?

And who in this world, using the kodi as a simple media player without addons out of their rules?

They know very well, that kodi is a system for the "others" addons and the reason where the people have it. So, the piracy is only to the cheap boxies? or in to the box like nvidia?

The software must follow the hardware. In that case, these persons, ask for the processors to follow their software !!! funny.
