hi all

if you are experiencing the wifi randomly disconnect/reconnect issue in your s912/g912 box, there is how i do it.

the reason for the issue for me was the dual band wifi router. since the simultaneous dual band routers are so popular  nowadays. and so m many networked devices are working with them very well. however, the box isnt handling dual band very well.

when i enabled the simultaneous dual band on my router, the box looked ok and network connected fine. when i watch video in any app, the box constantly disconnected and reconnect. when i separated the 2.4 and 5ghz and only connect to one of them, the box was no issue at all.

i think the wifi chip driver wasnt so good and it cannot handle the dual band well.

i dont know if there is any app that can force the wifi chip only connect to certain frequency. if there is, you can enable the dual band and let the box only connects to one or the other frequency. it might work as well.

it is just an experiment and it worked for me well

let me know if it helps

thanks

Merry Xmas and Happy new year,

F

I need to congratulate as your finding was of great help for my wifi worries about this marvelous device.

The wifi damn issue. I suggest you to write to Beelink guys to solved this issue, which is the only one I've found so far.
I'm using GT1_106M0 over a router 2.4 / 5.0 .. I did have to block 2.4 to solve the problem. I'll face what happened with 2,4 devices when the problem arises. For the moment all my devices run perfectly with just 5.0-

The same problem with router 2.4 / 5.0, but I cannot disable 2.4 because I use some devices with  2.4 only WiFi
Any other solution?

You could try to block 5.0 and see what happens.
