Difference between serial numbers

HI.

Does anyone know the difference between devices with serial numbers?
S/N A912 and S912 or G912 since they get different firmware numbers.

I don't think it makes a difference...

I tried the 'wrong' software on an 'A912' box and the only thing I noticed was that when I switched on WiFi it couldn't find my router - in fact it didn't even bother trying...

Head over to Freaktab and they have ROMs for both versions (S912 and G912 use the same)...

I replied to this thread yesterday but my post is still being moderated for some reason...?

Anyway, I tried loading the wrong ROM on my A912 and the only difference i could see was that the WiFi didn't function at all...

I have an A and an S (and a G that failed).

They both have poor WiFi with stock firmware (104 or 106)...
