Beelink GT1 dark picture - found a workaround!

Hello,

I've found a workaround for Beelink GT1 dark picture issue. It's only a workaround and not a real and steady solution, since it has to be done afrer every restart.

The workaround is quite simple:
1. Download and install "mx player" from google play store.
2. Run a video using "HW" decoder (not "SW" or "HW+"). The decoder type appears on the upper menu when you pause the video.
3. One second of video playback is enough. Exit mx player and run Kodi. Dark picture issue is gone until next restart.

Worked for me on latest firmware (106) and latest Kodi (16.1) from google play store.

why not just play 10 sec of a 4k video? Doesn't that do the same thing?

I guess it does. But my way works with any video, you don't have to play specifically 4k video.

Well, you see, colleague, that it is easier to download small 4K video and put it forever in a folder with movies. And before starting the movie to turn on for 3 seconds this video. Than to install a separate player, to include there's all sorts of modes, and so on. Why? Your method is much more complicated series of "button pressed - bag on the back." The more that 106 firmware almost all of this problem no longer exists. :)

Except we lose our warranty by installing that rom...
