SER8 dual m.2 and ethernet port

When I install a second m.2 SSD into the second port, the ethernet port stops working. When I remove the m.2 SSD, the ethernet port starts working again.

What am I doing wrong here? Can you provide guidance?

I just reformatted the device and now everything is working.
