Hi,
I have the same problem.  My Raspberry Pi 3B, which has physical hard disk and a much slower processor than the BeeLink i5, has better video playback of 720 and 1080 video.

Please let me know if I should update BIOS and drivers.

Thanks!

I don't think that will help. I received the Bee-Link PC from an office office that closed, and I immediately re-installed Windows from recovery.  I have second machine that works great with 3 monitors showing price charts for trading, but the machine giving me trouble is the one connected to the TV for watching videos.

Would upgrading the memory help to 16GB help?  I only have the original 8GB RAM.

Hi  there,
① Lower the resolution and frame rate of the video you're playing. This reduces the workload on your graphics card and can make the video play more smoothly.
② Some background applications may be using system resources and causing conflicts. Try closing unnecessary programs running in the background, especially those that use a lot of CPU or GPU power, like file syncing tools or resource-hungry antivirus software.
③As for upgrading RAM, it can be beneficial if your system is frequently running out of memory. Check the task manager to see if the memory usage is consistently high. If so, adding more RAM can help the system handle multiple processes and video data more efficiently, potentially reducing choppiness.
④Run a disk cleanup to remove temporary files, system files, and other unnecessary data that can take up space and slow down the system.

Not solved, but I have some insight into a possible solution.

I was using the BeeLink with my XiaoMi 86 Max Android TV.  The TV is rated for 4K at 120Hz.

I noticed that Windows on the BeeLink was only offering 30Hz for 4K, and when I tried 60Hz, it reduced 4K to HD.  I connected my laptop with i7 and Nvidia graphics, and still had problems.  Then I realized the HDMI setting in the TV was only providing 30Hz using the HDMI 1.4 spec.

One of the HDMI ports is labelled 120Hz.  With the remote, select the HDMI INPUT port for the BeeLink.  Click the SETTINGS button.  It shows an HDMI mode screen offering
HDMI 1.4 (4K at 30Hz)
2.0 (UHD UHI)
2.1 (4K at 60Hz + ALLM).

I had an 18Gbps HDMI cable which should be 2.0, but it still gave me problems.

I need to buy a 2.1 HDMI cable and try it in 2.1 mode with the laptop and the BeeLink.

Good luck!
