Can I Use a 19.5V 7.7A Power Adapter for My Beelink EQ12 Mini PC?

I recently purchased a Beelink EQ12 mini PC and have run into a small issue. While moving to a new place, I accidentally forgot the original power adapter.

The original adapter specifications for the Beelink EQ12 are:

• Voltage: 19V
• Current: 3.42A
  

I have another power adapter available with the following specifications:

• Voltage: 19.5V
• Current: 7.7A
  

I need to determine if using this adapter is within the safe tolerance range for the EQ12. My understanding is that the device should only draw the current it needs (3.42A), and the slight voltage difference (0.5V higher) might be acceptable.

In addition, I will need to change the connector to match the EQ12's plug size. The adapter I have now uses a 4.5mm x 3.0mm connector, while the EQ12 uses a 5.5mm x 2.5mm plug.

Questions:

• Is a 19.5V 7.7A power adapter within the safe tolerance range for the Beelink EQ12?
• Will I only need to buy a connector change from 4.5x3.0 to 2.5x5.5 DC plug, and that's all?
• Or should I purchase a new power adapter to match the exact 19V 3.42A specifications?

Although the device may only draw the current it needs (3.42A), the voltage difference of 0.5V higher can potentially cause damage to the device over time. It is recommended that you purchase a new power adapter that matches the exact specifications of 19V and 3.42A to ensure the safety and proper functioning of your Beelink EQ12.
Changing only the connector from 4.5mm x 3.0mm to 5.5mm x 2.5mm is not sufficient as the incorrect voltage and current can still pose a risk. Do not rely on using an adapter with different voltage and current specifications just because the connector can be changed.
