I have newly bought SER8, currently, I use Ubuntu, here the BIOS version retrieved with the command

1. sudo dmidecode -s bios-version
   
2. SER8_P5C8V26
   
3. 
   
4. sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
   
5. 05/23/2024

For SER 8845,  the newest BIOS is  V29 which supports secure boot and platform key .

i am sorry .
what do you mean by new sinkclose?
