When rebooting the system when warm it will not start.

I tried to find the fault with a cooling-spray and found, when i cool down the marked part in the photo, the system reboots immediate.
Can anyone please tell me, what part that is, most likely a transistor, but which one?
Kind regards
Alexander

Yes. Worked for me, but then I returned the original component. Maybe it was a soldering defect.

Hi  there,

I agree with you. If the original component will work , I think the issue is the soldering.

Thank you! Do you have more information, just a regular bipolar diode, a schottky or at best a type like bav99 or so?

I have the same problem. If you cool the area on the board shown in the photo, the computer starts up immediately.

This component on my motherboard is marked 5C. This is either a pair of diodes or a PNP transistor.

The problem startet, when BIOS Information was lost. The battery was empty, but not 2V oe 1.5V, it was 0 volt. I replaced the battery, made the bios setup, started the operating system. After updates the os wanted to reboot, but the PC hang. It took a while, 20min or so, the i could reboot the system.
I dismantled the system, took a coolant spray, and sector by sector i tried to reboot a warm system. When i cooled down the highlighted part the boot started without delay.
Since the part has not type printed on it, i placed my question here, what part that is.
But diode is a little to less information to find a replacement part. It might be a shottky diode, a zener diode or a double diode.
Has anybody a link to a circuit diagram?
