I am a GTR7 user.

I made a guide case for installing a cooling fan for improved cooling.
Now, i'm awaiting delivery of the 80mm fans that will be installed on the top, bottom, left, and right sides.
I saw on the forum that the GTR7 is more effective for cooling when GTR7 placed vertically, so I plan to install it upright.
Has anyone tried it? I'd like to hear your opinion.

Все намного проще. Вам не нужно изменять размеры корпуса. В конце концов, это мини-ПК...

You've found a good solution. Can you tell me how to make it?
In particular, how do you fix the fan and to supply power to fan??

I know it's a mini pc too. But I also know that it is very sensitive to heat. So, I would like to pay more attention to cooling rather than increasing the product size.

Regarding the fan for cooling memory modules and SSDs.
We use Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM. The case is cut off, the connector is changed to the one soldered to the factory small fan (it can be cut off together with the wire).
Power is supplied from a voltage boost circuit, since the factory small fan is powered by 5 volts and the Noctua > 12 volts.
Mounting the fan is simple and obvious.

One plate is drilled and attached to the threaded sleeve with a screw, the second plate fits under the gray rubber bands on the SSD.
