PLEASE HELP!

My SER7 7840 will not boot!

The power LED turns on, the fans seem to spin slightly, like normal, but there are NO POST MESSAGES on the display, it does not respond to keyboard buttons and I cannot find it on my network.

This is bad. Please help.

Hello there,
Hello there,
Sorry for the trouble.
Here are some potential solutions: First, please unplug the power supply and HDMI cable. Please press the pinhole of "CLR CMOS" with a pin for about 10 seconds.Ten minutes later, plug the power supply and HDMI cable, turn on the PC again.  Please wait about one or two minute, if you can go to the system, Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as your restart the PC, go to BIOS. Go to Boot option, enable fast boot, press F4 to save.  Here is the tutorial https://mega.nz/file/XypwTISY#DV ... Z7f7qpKGP2E3nMHW8ms  If the problem persists, please try other solutions:

①Please change another HDMI cable or power supply.

②Please take out the RAM ,please clean the contacts of the RAM with a rubber. Here is the tutorial https://mega.nz/file/XqZX0TIR#_D ... hBpQ959cg5U3Yw4u1Cc or  [https://mega.nz/file/7nwDmCaL#Uy ... P9gt2Br3xyCG1SCdbrA](https://mega.nz/file/7nwDmCaL#Uy ... P9gt2Br3xyCG1SCdbrA)

③ Please take out one RAM and leave the other one in it to test if the RAM is defective or not. When testing, please turn on the PC, and wait about one minute, if you can go to the system, Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as your restart the PC, go to BIOS. Go to Boot option, enable fast boot, press F4 to save.

④Please check if the fan spins?

⑤Please tell us if the Keyboard light is on ?(Very important). If the keyboard light is on, it should go to the system, we need to troubleshoot HDMI or the monitor.

Hope it can help you!

I have tried all of those things mentioned.
1. The HDMI cable AND the keyboard AND the monitor all work without issue on other computers.
2. I tried cleaning the RAM like you suggested but machine will not boot.
3. I tried running with one stick of RAM but machine would not boot. I tried other stick still will not boot.
4. The fan spins.
5. There is no keyboard light.

It seems like you've tried everything mentioned. Since other components are working fine and the fan spins, but you're not seeing any keyboard lights, there might be an issue with the motherboard or power supply. You could try reseating the CPU and checking all power connections. If the problem persists, seeking assistance from a technician might be the next step.
