Power button stays on continuously during sleep.

I am new to this machine and in many areas I am impressed! However, when it goes to sleep, the power button light stays on. How can I trust that it is actually sleeping if that light is still on? On every other make of computer I ever owned the power light would usually blink or something. Is it malfunctioning?

As a test, I put it to sleep using the on-screen power button and selecting 'Sleep'. The power light on the front of the unit stayed on and did not start flashing. After a few seconds I woke it back up using the keyboard.  I then used powercfg /SYSTEMPOWERREPORT and the report showed that it did actually sleep.

The power button is supposed to start flashing. It does not.

Yes, after two minutes the light is still on, it is NOT flashing.

Hello there,
our technical personnel has tested the machine,it is normal when the machine's light is on when it get into the sleep mode.

Because there's no s3-sleep mode in the pc, the pc's light is on when it gets into the sleep mode. and cpu fan is working
continually.
In neer future  the bios firmware update solves this problems.
