Hi
received a new SER7 less than 48hrs ago and the 5Ghz wifi will no longer access the Internet.
It did work initially and it now connects to my wifi but will not connect to the internet using the 5Ghz frequency.
It will connect using the 2.4Ghz frequency without issue.
The wifi router is less than 1M from the unit so signal is strong.
The wifi router and PC have both been restarted multiple times.
I have removed the wifi device from Device Manager and rebooted/reinstalled driver.
Checked for updated drivers from Intel and Microsoft. No change with either driver.
Installed drivers posted by Moderator in slow wifi thread with no change to result.
I even reset Windows completely and then updated drivers again, with no success.
I have tried manual configuration for ip addresses and still no connection beyond my access point.
Using a wired connection it works fine.
Other devices on the network function without issue.
Unless this can be fixed in the next couple of days I will return this unit I purchased from Amazon.
