This is not a solution to the problem.
For example, my external drive turns off after a few seconds of inactivity, I want to change this, but there are no settings.

For example, my external drive turns off after a few seconds  ...

Please try the following method
1. Open Control Panel: In Windows operating system, click the Start menu and select Control Panel.

2. Go to Power Options: In Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound, and then select Power Options.

3. Change power plan settings: In the Power Options window, you will see the power plan you are currently using. Click "Change plan settings."

4. Change advanced power settings: In the plan settings window, click "Change advanced power settings."

5. Find the hard drive settings: In the Advanced Power Options window, you will see various power settings options. Find the "Hard Disk" option and expand it.

6. Change the drive shutdown time: Under the drive options, you will see the "Turn off the drive" option. Change its value to extend the duration of hard drive shutdown, or select Never to disable hard drive shutdown entirely.

external hdd, only 0,55A
Perfectly work with tv box & laptop.
This mini PC SER7 has a very poor BIOS, so some options are not available.

Hello there,

Do you have problem with your external drive?
If so,
Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager---universal serial bus controller--USB hub---properties--power management---uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power"

Hello there,

Do you have problem with your external drive?

Apparently you don’t know why the power scheme management window is missing 80% of the items that most computers have.

Hi there,

It turns off after a few moment of inactivity, because it wants to save energy.
Unfortunately , there is no unique settings to change the power management.
You might check the device manager.
