I just purchased a GTR7Pro and added Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB NVMe M.2 Internal to the 2nd NVME slot but neither the BIOS nor Windows recognized a 2nd drive. Is the GTR7 defectie or am I missing something. Since I just purchased it from Amazon I should be able to returrn it if defective but just wanted to confirm I'm not making any incorrect assumptions.

This drive works fine in another system so I know it is not defective, I am also able to use it on the GTR7 via a USB-C connected external NVME enclosurebut prefer to have it mounted internally.

Hello  there,

You can try to clear CMOS first: Please unplug the power supply and HDMI cable. Please try to hit the hole of "CLR CMOS" with a needle or a pin for about 10 seconds.Ten minutes later,  plug the power supply and HDMI cable, turn on the PC again.

Can you put the new SSD on the first NVME card slot and the original recognizable SSD on the second NVME card slot to see if the machine can recognize it?
Through this operation, you can see whether there is a problem with the card slot of the machine.

Have a nice day!

When I swapped the slots both the originally installed SSD and the Samsung SSD started working.
