Tried to manually add hw in Windows to no avail. I have not physically looked at the PC, it's running fine besides the wireless NIC.
I bought a Netgear wifi usb dongle to get the PC back on the network.

Same thing just happened to my SER5 5800H. I have only had this unit for a very brief time, as it is a replacement for a unit that "died" in the warranty period. The wireless card worked for a few days and then stopped. I am currently using a WIFI extender with LAN cord. Reset, device manager driver update and new drivers did not work.

Update: It has now started to frequently and randomly restart for no apparent reason.

Resetting the PC and the network did not work. Its as if the wireless card is not even there. Device manager doesn't see it.
