Latest BIOS SER7 7840HS

Hello. I have a problem. I have downloaded and installed latest BIOS v38. And after it problems with videocard started: on first start there was a crash of a driver on starting a game (dota2).
Then I have downloadet latest amd drivers/
Now game starts normally, but after 3-5 mins system totally freezes- only hard reset

and you can also go to the AMD official website and try to install the AMD Adrelanie 24.5.1 driver.

Hey, I’m looking for the latest BIOS file for the SER7 7840HS. I’m running into an issue where the system doesn’t always wake up properly from hibernation or sleep—it sometimes restarts instead.

My current BIOS version is: SER7PRO_P5C8V38.

Hello there,

Could you please send us a picture of SN code at the bottom of machine?
Then we will send you the corresponding BIOS file.

Here are some solutions for you:
①Please go to device manager---separately right click the keyboard and mouse--properties--power management--check “Allow the device to wake the computer”

②Please disable startup in the power option. In Control Panel, click the Power Options.

Select the Choose what the power buttons do.

Uncheck the “Turn on fast startup.”

Select Save Settings.

③On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and type cmd. Then click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator. Click Yes when prompted with a User Account Control window. Type powercfg.exe /hibernate off && powercfg.exe /hibernate on and press Enter. Again, try to put your PC to sleep and wake it up to see if it functions properly.

④Tweak power settings

1.On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, then type powercfg.cpl into the box and press Enter.

2.Click the chosen power plan and click Change plan settings.

3.Click Change advanced power settings.

4.Double-click on Sleep, then set Allow hybrid sleep in Off and set Allow wake timers to Enable.

5.Click Apply > OK. Restart your computer, test on your machine again and see if it wakes up without fail.
