Is the maximum thickness for the internal SATA SSD documented anywhere?

I tried to install a 9mm thick drive and it would not fit the SATA connector.

Is the maximum thickness 7mm?

Why is there a 2TB limit for drives on the SATA port?

Yes, our machine just can install 7mm SATA HDD.
And it just can max up to 2TB HDD.
because if your HDD over 2TB, maybe there is insufficient power issue.
