Correct, no problem with either the WD or the Sabrent gen 4 NVMEs.

Correct, no problem with either the WD or the Sabrent gen 4 NVMEs.

Can you try to duplicate large files ( like 30GiByte) in your Gen4 NVMe in the 2nd slot a few times?

I bought 2 SER7 7840HS and both failed.

WD_BLACK 4TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 7,300 MB/s - WDS400T2X0E

SABRENT 2TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal SSD Maximum Performance Solid State Drive (Latest Version) (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-2TB).

Both worked fine... I moved them back to TB3 enclosures for flexibility, which worked via USB4 port.
SABRENT Thunderbolt 3 Certified M.2 NVMe SSD Tool Free Solid Aluminum Enclosure (EC-T3NS)

I later returned my SER7 7840HS because I could not power it through the USB4 ports.   I will buy another of the same model when that problem is sorted ... unless there's an upgraded model by then.

I apologize for my English. Perhaps you could use my experience. I installed a Crucial P5plus SSD in the second slot. I had problems slowing down, blocking and error Whea Windows Hardware. Therefore, I installed a Samsung 980pro SSD instead of the Crucial P5lus and it solved everything. The PC is fast and powerful. The speed of the Samsung SSD respects the manufacturer’s data.

As for me Samsung 980pro SSD in the second free slot works perfectly. I don’t have a single file that weighs 30gb. I’m a professional photographer. But I copied heavy photo archives, Lightroom catalog about 8 gb, etc. I did not encounter any problems. Let me know your experience, well chance you decide to buy the same SSD. Thanks

see what Beelink wrote here after I asked: https://forum.bee-link.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=88138&page=1#pid136244

Did you check with smartmontools for errors? After every reboot / start I see 1 error more with the Crucial NVME.

I don’t know this program.

My experience is as follows: I installed a Crucial P5 plus SSD in the second free slot and the computer had slowdowns, crashes. With HWinfo64 software I detected many Whea Hardware Windows errors. I tried to install it even in the first slot and moving the original SSD into the second slot and the situation remained the same.

Therefore, I installed a new Samsung 980pro SSD in the second free slot (installing factory SSD again in the first slot) and the computer had no problems. With HWinfo64 I can’t detect any error. Reading other users' posts, I found that some SSDs have incompatibility issues.

In my case I wouldn’t know if Crucial P5 plus SSD was faulty, however with Samsung 980pro SSD is fine.
Let me know.

I experienced this error with WD 850X/850/770 , and CFD.

No problems are reported with Samsung/Sabrent , I think.
