Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with my MINI S that I hope someone can help me with. My MINI S runs normally without any problems, but when I try to restart it or power it on again while it's still hot (after regular usage), it refuses to start. The only thing I hear is the noisy fan, but there's no display on the screen.

Usually, I have to let it cool down completely before it will power on again. This is quite inconvenient as I can't easily restart it whenever I want.

One additional detail to note is that during my regular usage, the temperature typically ranges between 50-60°C.

I'm using Ubuntu, which I installed on an additional 256GB SATA SSD. Furthermore,
I haven't made any changes to the hardware.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your help!

Hello there,

May I ask you that you mean you can not restart your machine at any time?
Or you mean just when your machine is very hot, you can not restart your machine?

And may I ask you that your machine has the issue of overheating?

Looking forward to your feedback so that we can help you better.

I have the same problem. If the Mini S PC is lightly loaded, it runs ok. If the load increases (hotter) and I restart the Mini S, sometimes I have to wait for the PC to cool before it will re-boot. The fan does not provide enough cooling. Can the fan be controlled by software so it can go faster?
