I'm the new customer of the BeeLink SER7 7840HS,
I've got one quiestion:
Can I use USB-C ports, on the back to power the device??
I have the USB-C 140W charger.
I'd rather ask before I mess something up. :)
greetings
If you want to use USB4 port(PD3.0 100W) for power supply, please set TDP to 54W in BIOS, which supports 20V/5A max.
Please be sure to connect 120W power adapter to DC port for power supply if you set the TDP to 65W.
The OP's question is whether he can provide power to the SER7 through a USB-C port using a third party power supply (not whether he can deliver power from a USB-C port).
If you read the answer carefully, you'll see that it is answered. TheUSB4 ports will only work as a power supply for the computer if you have the right amount for usage. The computer is set for 65 watts by default. Your 140 watt power supply should work fine if your cable can carry that much. I would check that first. USB 4 as used for power delivery to peripheral devices is limited to 100W.
Indirectly from Beelink, the Amazon listing states 65W TDP for "Sold by Beelink and Fulfilled by Amazon."
"With a TDP of 65 W, SER7 mini pc can turns [sic] your desk into a powerful workstation."
