What is the proper BIOS power setting to keep the Mini S from shutting down after being idle? I have Windows 11 correctly configured to not go into a sleep state; but I must be missing a BIOS setting as the unit powers down after being idle. I would like to unit to not power down or shut off if idle.

Hello there,

Thanks for your letter and sorry for the late reply.

When your machine is idle, does it automatically shut down? Do you mean that the machine loses power and then shuts down?Or does the computer not shut down, just can not wake up the screen?

And you can have a test your RAM.
Please take out the RAM ,please clean the contacts of the RAM with a rubber.
Here is the tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEd_7nmWVOk

Then You can take out one of the RAM and test whether one of the RAM is damaged.

Looking forward to your feedback so that we can help you better.

Hello there,

Thanks for your letter and sorry for the late reply.

Actually, I think I found the issue. It is a Windows setting that was hidden in the Control Panel Power Options rather than the Windows 11 Settings options. After looking at each setting, the system was set to go into hibernation - I deactivated that, and I am sure that it will be fine. The 22H2 update must have snuck that setting into my operating system.

My Mini S is running great and I dropped my old 1 TB SDD into it and I am very happy!
