EDIT: CMOS reset fixed it (turn off PC, unplug HDMI and use a pin to
press the Cmos button on the front for 5+ seconds, then wait a minute)
If anyone can explain why this works, comment below thanks.

EDIT April 2024: Speakers failed again after a restart. So I shut down, unplugged everything except keyboard & mouse at the back, then pinned the cmos button for 10 seconds. Booted up....... still no speakers.... then I did another RESTART and bam it works. I don't know why but okay :D

Windows 10. Beelink AMD Ryzen 7 mini PC. Frequently in the morning
(after the PC was off/ standby overnight) the speakers are not showing
up in the sound settings (only HDMI monitor shows as sound output
device). Please help.

I downloaded and unzipped, folder seems to have only LAN , BT & WIFI folders? But I need audio.

Following the update driver steps for other devices, PC said "unable to install your PCI device"

Or, if I try to update "high definition audio device" it says "the best drivers... are already installed"

I have always had this problem with my 1+ year old SER5 5600H, in Windows and Linux, you just need to reboot... I never found a solution for this.

I wish rebooting still worked. Actually I use the mono output from my LG monitor. Mono is good enough for me but it has a whine which is driving me crazy. External usb soundcard also has a whine.

This issue is making me want to change my PC, even though it's a few months old.

I need to use a comfy compact keyboard (I use a $100 thinkpad external laptop style keyboard which is only compatible with Windows 10) otherwise I would upgrade to Win 11.

If anyone has a solution that would mean I don't need to buy a new PC, I would be very greatful.

Please try to clear cmos to see if that could work,  pls   unplug the power supply and HDMI cable. Please try to hit the hole of "CLR CMOS" with a needle or a pin for about 5-10 seconds.A few minutes later, plug the power supply and HDMI cable, turn on the PC again.
