Does S12 Pro support HDCP 2.2?

TLDR: I just purchased an S12 Pro from Amazon to use as a HTPC, but I am unable to get 4K streaming working through Netflix and I think the issue is HDCP 2.2 is not supported.  Is this device supposed to support HDCP 2.2?


More Detail: It should be possible to stream 4K Netflix through Edge on Windows 11.  When I go to edge://gpu (in Edge) I see HDCP 2.2 listed as False.  HDCP 2.2 is required for Netflix 4K streaming so I assume this is the problem.  I have tried multiple cables connected directly to my TV (which definitely supports HDCP 2.2) and I cannot get HDCP 2.2 to show true in Edge.  The Intel Graphics Command Center says your display is compatible with HDCP but doesn't say which version of HDCP so not particularly helpful.  I am not sure what the requirements are to enable HDCP 2.2, but looking around in the bios it seems that secure boot is disabled and there are no keys loaded, so not sure if that's part of the issue.


There is a similar thread on the Intel support forums here where a user is also reporting HDCP 2.2 issues with the S12 Pro (and other N100-based mini PCs) but Intel support pushed it to the PC manufacturer.  The thread is here, and this is my exact issue as well: https://community.intel.com/t5/G ... l-iGPU/td-p/1493844

I have a S12 pro (n100) PC.
N100 CPU supports HDCP2.2 But your S12 Pro dosen't support that.

WHY HAVE YOU BLOCKED HDCP 2.2 ?

JUST FOR REDUCING THE PRODUCTION UNIT PRICE ?

Did you physically block it completely  OR Is it available through an update?
