GTR6 6900HX 2nd SDD

Hello I buy in Amazon a Beelink GTR6 6900HX and I like add a 2nd SDD III. I buy a Kingston NV2 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe Internal SSD | PCIe 4.0 Gen 4x4 | Up to 3500 MB/s | SNV2S/2000G, White, for the 2nd SDD, but are not possible to see anything. Not possible to see on Disk Management. The question is this SDD working with GTR6? Or I need to buy another specific SDD? Thanks for help me.

Hi galarza69,
one of the SSD slots is labeled M.2 NVME 2280 which means only this slot can handle NVME SSD like the one you have purchased.
the second SSD slot is labeled M.2  SATA3 2280 which means this slot can only handle the older SSD SATA types. there is no chance to get a NVME SSD working in that slot. I got my self a WD Blue SATA 2TB for his slot and it works without problems.
Never the less you can make use of your purchase of NVME 2TB but you have to clone your existing NVME SSD which came along with your GTR6 purchase and replace it by your new cloned 2TB NVME.

Sorry for the late reply.
The GTR6 has two slot.The first one only support the M.2 NVME SSD.The other one only support the M.2 SATA SSD.
We suggest you change the first one to 2TB M.2 NVME SSD or you could add another 2TB M.2 SATA SSD to the 2nd slot.
