I have a device conceded to it which is connecting usin PCI Express 4.0 x 4, I would like to know what is the maximum designed lanes of the port is the x4 I am getting or is it more?

Hello, GTR6 supports NVMe PCIe 4.0 at most.

Done some more test and Bus Interface shows PCIe x 8 4.0 connected at 4.0 x4, not sure why only connects at half speed of port, could  be PCIe limitations on CPU/Chipset I guess.
