Hello,

I have installed latest debian 12, headless (CLI only), and it is running linux kernel 6.1.
I get these errors on startup. Some of them are related to WIFI/BT card not supported. What about the others?

Hello there,

EQ12 doesn't support installing Linux, because its wifi card is AX101. Intel  and Linux don't release any drivers for the WIFI driver.

Hi, thanks for the support.
Actually someone has been able to make this work, by using drivers from AX201, and somehow using them instead of AX101.
By that is not the point, as I am not interested in wifi or BT.
I have disabled them in bios, and have reduced the logs to the following.

Do you know how to remove those?

Hello there,

Thanks for your letter and sorry for the late reply.

Because the machine can not support installing linux, so there are these errors.

Maybe you can update the Drivers from AX201 to solve these issue.

Hope it can help you and have a nice day!

@___WhoAmI___  I got Ubuntu 23.04 headless (just cli) running on my EQ12. I have the wifi problem, but I don't use wifi so it is okay. I know it is not the same as Debian 12 but you might try Ubuntu to help narrow down the source of the problem.

I read somewhere that this wifi chip is partly supported in Kernel 6.3, with better support coming in even newer Kernels. I don't know when Debian 12 will get 6.3 or newer, but you could switch to Debian Unstable.

My last message from a few days ago somehow never appeared here. So here it is again.

I read that Kernel 6.3 (I think) has first partial support for that WiFi chip. Newer Kernels should support it better. Don't know when Debian 12 would get that. You could switch to Debian Unstable (which I love) and possibly solve at least the WiFi and Bluetooth issues.
