Please release a list of bios changes so we know if we even want to update from the origonal bios  ...

VERSION 13:  1. Optimize system fan temperature sensing.
2. Adjust the BIOS default video memory to 4GB.
3. SR IOV is enabled by default.
4. Optimize the rear USB4 display.
5. Optimize the problems of crashes and freezes in the game.

VERSION 21: 1. Optimize boot time
2, BIOS adds Balance Mode and Performance mode options, the default Performance mode. (Balance Mode is 54W, Performance mode 65W) In the BIOS, go to Advanced--OEM Features Management-PowerLimit Setting
3. BIOS adds NVME RAID 0/1 function option. In the BIOS, go to Advanced--OEM Features Management-Nvme Raid Support in the BIOS position
Note: If you create a new RAID mode, you need to delete all the space and data on the current hard disk. Please back up the data carefully.

Hello there,

Please take out one of the RAM, it will be better.

Did AMD say this will solve it or is it an assumption, is it only you hope it will fix it?

Solutions are not built on hope but action, rebellions are built on hope but this is a pc that costs money with Ratchet and Clank releasing tomorrow we need every bit of power.

It shouldn't be compatability because issue isn't for everyone.

GarethRossUK,

Ótima observação a sua! Perfeito!

Grato,

soaoga

No, on Crucial's own website (the UK one.) Try putting this in Google:
Crucial 16GB DDR5-4800 SODIMM | CT16G48C40S5
It should be one of the first results. The scroll down to the reviews on Crucial's product page.
The 5600 version does not have any reviews but it may have the same incompatibilty issues.

I totally agree and for very selfish reasons.....

Right now my 7940HS on stock BIOS has had zero reboots and is currently on Day 8 uptime.  The only things that are not stock are that I added a 2TB SSD (SK Hynix P41), cloned the stock Crucial SSD (leaving it in place, not moving it from Slot #0) and made the only change in the BIOS making the p41, second SSD, in Slot#1 the boot drive.

Windows updates as normal, been running the usual Office etc, installed and running a Linux VM running NextCloud accessed over a Zerotier network connection as a lab test, nothing particularly strange, no tweaks, no playing with regustry settings etc.

No significant errors showing in Event Viewer

Swapping to a new BIOS without adequate or even minimal documentation would be...... probably sub-optimal....

This. BIOS versions need to be documented and available for download. This is an area where Beelink should align with industry standards as used by all big brands.

Try going to BIOS,

Go to ACPI Settings
Change "Enable ACPI Auto Configuration" to "Disabled"
Under new menu below it change
"ACPI Sleep State" to "Suspend Disabled"

Let me know if that helps. I personally haven't had issues since I did that.

Kind regards
