Hi,

Just bought one Beelink SER5 Mini PC (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 500GB ) and ordered a second one for my son.

A few questions:

How do I add an SSD and can I just add one but not take out the one that it comes with? for example, keep the 500 and add a second 1tb? And do I have to factory reset, or can I just install it? And what are some good brands/models?

Also, anyone have one that is running hot while gaming, and any suggestions?

And any accesories anyone can reccomend (or not, because they don´t work for some reaason) like game controllerss (BT or wired) ?

Thanks in advance.

M

Hello there
You can add a 1TB 2.5inch SATA3 SSD into the SER5800
And you can just install it as a data drive.
About the brand, you can choose the Kingstong, Samsung, Crucial and so on.
But I don't know much about games, sorry, you can find the latest popular games on YouTube

Hope can help you.

Thank you.

So I just open the unit, install it, close the unit and I don´t have to do a factory reset or go into BIOS or anything?

Is this model (SER5 with Ryzen 7 5800U) capable of accepting a 2TB 2.5inch SATA3 SSD?
