I will add observations about the new driver for the video core, because the euphoria from installing it has greatly diminished.

the main plus and probably the only one - it got better with the temperature inside the case
All the problems seem to have remained: if I turn off the monitor with the button, it is no longer possible to return to the system when turned on.
Adobe's AI seems to have started working, but it's already hanging on 3-4 attempts to use it.
After 2 days of testing - yesterday again in the evening again a random reboot.

Here is almost 100% of the scenario in which the rebut is reproduced for me:
we are playing some kind of 3D game.
We're out of the game.
We work in the browser (opera), watch a youtube video in 4K. We put the video on pause.
After some time (again, always through different) reboot.

And in general, I have a feeling that there is more than one reason for reboots from different users. It's like there's a whole zoo of problems that need to be corrected

The longest time a PC has worked without a reboot is 4 days.

I do not see any updates to these GTR7 Issues in over two weeks. Have they been resolved?
What's the latest on overall stability?

Hey Daniel,

There is no news or BIOS updates since then. Over their support email, Beelink says they're still working on that but also they're offering the replacement of faulty units once their stock is back.

Personally I have a GTR7 Pro (7940HS) and tried all possible settings in BIOS, Windows and drivers. I still get reboots or screen freezes/glitches about once/twice a day over the last month. I'm willing to wait some days more to see if there is new AMD drivers or Beelink BIOS to try out... otherwise I'm going to send them back for replacement.

Hi,

Question, do you use HDR ?
When I disable HDR, the reboot seems to stop happening for a much longer period of time than when it is enabled.

Hi,

Question, do you use HDR ?

In Windows I have it as disabled. But I know the apps can enable it (like games) anyway. I just disabled it in the monitor directly... now Windows doesn't see as supported anymore.
I will try to use like this for some time and will report back if it makes any difference.

Edit: 30 minutes after HDR turned off, another reboot

I also have similar issue with my Beelink GTR7 Pro (AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics).

The behaviour is very likely to what Eugen describes.

Before installing latest AMD drivers system reboots on each GPU-heavy activity.

After installing latest AMD drivers, with single display (via DisplayPort) system (win11) is perfectly stable (up to 13-15 days of uptime) and performant.

Just after plugging second display (via HDMI-to-DVI-D cable) - it never more than a minute before hard reboot.

Suspected the HDMI-to-DVI-D cable. But it works with another PCs.

Currently testing memory via MemTest86+...

Then will try to play with memory: remove one, swap, etc.

Is it worth trying to replace 2x16Gb to 2x32Gb (in terms of fixing this issue) (don't want to buy it just for probe another unstable configuration)?

It works stable in ubuntu with amd-disable-c6 fix.
For windows it should have been posible to limit max idle state with powercfg SUB_PROCESSOR IDLESTATEMAX command, but it seems to not working anymore. However it is still possible to completely disable idle states with IDLEDISABLE command, but it becomes too noisy working constantly at 4.9GHz. If you feel adventurous, you can manually write MSR values at addresses from amd-disable-c6 source code.

Please, @Support-03, why is it impossible to disable c6 state in bios?
