Problem upgrading SEi8 8259U Memory

Hi all,


I bought the SEi8 8259U and have been very happy with the performance, form factor, etc.

I purchased Corsair DDR4 32GB 2400Mhz 32GB upgrade and when I installed it the PC doesn't boot.  I had to revert back to the Corsair 16GB that it came with.

Is there a recommended memory I should use to perform the upgrade?

The Corsair I purchased is the VEngeance SODIMM DDR4 16GB x 2.

Hi all,

So for posterity I wanted to post this.  I purchased a Crucial RAM 32GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Laptop Memory CT32G4SFD832A not realizing it was a 32GBx1 chip.  I removed the two 8GB chips that the SEi8 came with and installed just the 32GB in the lowest slot.  After about a minute of a blank screen at startup it booted and everything works fine.
