Linux in SER5 (Ryzen 7 5800h)

Good night here from Brazil.I'm getting a SER5 (Ryzen 7 5800H) and I intend to use Linux Mint on that device.The question is: Is there anything that DOESN'T work on it? what do i need to worry about with it from a parts point of view they need to install overall

Disable secure boot and tpm in bios to work everything fine without errors and warning messages. Other than that, it should work good.

I installed Linux Mint on a SER6 Pro Ryzen 7735HS with no issues. Did not change anything in Bios. Drive was formatted for Linux upon installation (no Windows). Only issue was slow Wi-Fi and disabled power management for that. Don't remember how I did that... sorry. Everything works for me.

I have a slightly different model (SER6 Pro 7735HS), but everything is working perfectly with it under Linux. I'm running Fedora Silverblue (exclusively, no Windows), with all the hardware bits working out of the box, 2.5Gbit Ethernet and all.

As mentioned by fxnoob, if the SER5 is similar as the SER6 it seems like you might not be able to get secure boot working out of the box as Bee-link has seemingly included a test UEFI Platform key, rather than a real (M$) one. In my case I did not (have to) disable it, my "Device Security" panel just shows that secure boot has "problems." Everything boots up fine though. Unless Bee-link is able to provide a BIOS update with correct keys, the only way to really "fix" this would be to add your own key and sign your own kernel builds with it. In my case, I just leave it be.

If you want to get everything working without any warnings or errors, you need to disable secure boot and tpm in the bios. Aside from that, it ought to function admirably.

I disabled secure boot, but I didn’t find where I can disable TPM in BIOS settings. Could you write the path to disable TPM?

I've a SER 5 5800H and I'm having problems with my monitors (I cannot configure them properly ) and with my microphone. I'm using Manjaro by the way.
