Hi All

Questions, which I am hoping someone amongst the learned here will answer.

Have noticed, whilst snopping around the BIOS that the ACPI setting is disabled or more accurately it is not set to enabled and therefore there are some additional options available as a result.

Is there any reason for this; have read that it certainly should be for laptops but does not need to be for desktop system...but having said that on balance the recommendations are that is hould be enabled even on desktop systems as it can impact some of the hardware components.

Beelink ship the system (SER6 Pro 7735HS) with the setting as not enabled automatically...so (i) does anyone know why & (ii) should it be change so that it is enabled?

Many thanks in anticipation of any input that may be provided.

Cheers, Baldrick

Is strictly related to power management, my machine runs 24/7 without any power setting, all full performance, so personally I don't care about it, didn't even check it in BIOS. My machine only reboots when I reinstall drivers (chipset or gpu), or when windows has an update.

Hi fxnoob

Thanks for the response. I will add that to my overall assessment and once I have gathered I will decide as to whether I change the setting or not...but what you say is interesting/useful.

Thanks, Baldrick
