weird cuz i have tried  DP tp hdmi and adapter  DP to Hdmi and nothing works, what brand is your cable?

Brand doesn't matter as long as DP connector is 1.4+

I have a dp1.4 but the second monitor i want to use temporarily doesn't actually have DP.   Neither does the primary monitor. I have several DP to HDMi adapters , most say 4kx2k.  The 1.4 adapters are expensive.

This worked for me.  My DP to old VGA cable. ( monitor had that)
But DP to DVI did not work.

  The resolution im going for is fine for now but it works.  They need to put a piece of paper in there or do a bios update.  People are likely to waste hours on this.

I've tried everything and it's still not working. I bought this unit because it said it had 2 hdmi outlets. Not sure why they sent me one with a dp. my 1.4 to 2.0 adapter does not work. my 4k adapter does not work ..do you think maybe I need a dp to hdmi cable without using an adapter? I'm about to send this thing back after 4 days of time wasted.

So after 6 days of wasted time I figured it out. Use a dp to hdmi adapter that has ACTIVE on it. I got one from amazon, it was $20 canadian

Hi - the basic Display port to HDMI cables do not work you need an Active cable of better quality and these work.

I have ser6 Max 7735 and the Displayport is also not working. Even with the DP 1.4 cables.
HDMI and USBC-HDMI is working fine.

I have ordered a active DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.0 cable. I hope this is a solution, as written above
