speakers plugged into headphone jack don't work. Win 11 Device mgr doesn't show Realtek; Win Ctrl panel doesn't show connected ext spkrs. InstallShield unable to install Realtek driver from Program File 86 folder. How can I use my external speakers with mini RCA plug they come with?

Thanks.  I'm not sure of difference; my jack works with headphone outputs from my other PC's.

Please answer whether the HARDWARE for standard audio output (Realtek, perhaps) is absent on the Mini S and if so, what workaround might exist.  As I mentioned, Windows 11 Device Manager doesn't show the Realtek drivers and, although software to install those exists in a folder on the Mini S, clicking to install it doesn't work.

Hello,
You can try to load a 'realtek audio control' app in REALTEK web.

I appreciate your help.  Software came with the computer, so that's not the problem.

I decided not worth further effort, and bought a dongle to adapt from USB to standard speaker jack.  $4.95 and it works fine!
