Video streaming in Youtube on the Mini S12 Pro is only in VP9 (Windows 11, browser tested: Firefox, Chrome, Safari) and not AV1.

As N95/N100 hardware have AV1 support, how can I activate it? If not possible, will there be a future driver update that will do this?

Apparently AV1 decoding on the Mini S12 works in Libreelec / Linux. Mini PCs of other manufacturers using N95/100, support AV1 during Youtube streaming in Windows 11. So the problem seems to be missing software support from Beelink under Windows 11 for AV1 decoding.

I hope there is a possibilty to fix this? AV1 support is one of the most important features why I decided to by a Mini S12 Pro.

"AV1 Video Extension" by "Microsoft Coporation" from the Windows Store was already installed.
So sadly this is not a solution.

What I also did was to activate the option "Always prefer AV1" in the Youtube-settings (youtube/account_playback) and I made sure that the videos I tested are streamed in AV1 on other devices (so I could be really sure that the fault is on the side of the Beelink Mini and not Youtube).

Are there any other things that I can do to make it work?

Issue is solved (kind of).
For some reasons Youtube only delivers VP9 videos if I´m logged into my account. Once I am logged out, I get AV1 up to 8K.
