I have Ubuntu installed with a working config on my U59 Mini PC. I just bought a Mini S and would run Linux on it and reinstall Windows on the U59.

Would that work?

Hello,
Yes, that could work. All this two machines use SATA SSD.
Do you need some  drivers for them?

My U59 does not support M.2 NVMe it only supports M.2 SATA or 2.5inx7mm SATA. This is a big problem as I now have bought many and need to buy many M.2 SATA drives for it (It came with a M.2 NVMe) but they all say no NVMe found in the BIOS as the slot says "M.2 SATA3 2280", the NVMe/PCIe fits physically into the slot, but the BIOS doesn't recognize it.
