SEi12 will not resume from sleep

Both the keyboard and the mouse are plugged into the rear USB ports, but the machine will not wake up from sleep. The appropriate boxes are ticked in Device Manager but when the computer is in sleep mode I need to use the power button to force a restart.


The rear USB ports seemed to be the answer in previous posts but the posts were not specifically about SEi12. When awake, the ports seem to function normally.

The front ports seem to be the solution for other models when it comes to resuming from sleep. Try those

After the PC goes to sleep or turns off, there is no power on the USB port.
