SER6 7735HS question- USB4

Hey there.  I am looking at ordering a SER6-7735HS to use as a semi portable DAW for music.  I have a soundcard that uses Thunderbolt 3/4 interface.  It looks like the 7735HS has a USB-4 connection, but it's only mentioned in respect to being used as a display or with only output specs (not two way communication), and in the port photos, it says "USB-C" which I'm guessing refers to the connector type, but am worried that it's just as USB-C port (USB3.2 gen 2).  Can anyone out there that has one of these confirm that this model actually has a USB-4/Thunderbolt port, and even better, that it works with audio devices, or things other than as a monitor output, or works normally as USB4/Thunderbolt port?

Based on description of port and from the review, the previous version with 6800H ran external GPU without any problem, so I suppose is the same port on Plus 7735HS.

I use Akitio Node Titan Thunderbolt 3 enclosure with RTX 2080 Super. I connect it with Anker USB4 240V 40Gbs 3.3ft cable and it uses the full bandwidth. So, the USB4 port is legit. All the wires are there to communicate based on the USB4 standard. It should work. Manufactures can't claim that it supports TB3 or TB4 because it requires certification from Intel.
