I've seen - in another topic - that you managed to disassemble the motherboard from the case. Did you find the factory's thermal paste to be too thick or of bad quality ?
You were speaking about the WiFi antennas which have to be disconnect and that they were glued to the WiFi chip (which lie under the M.2 for what I've seen when I changed it). How did you remove the glue without damaging any chips or elements ? You were also talking about a sticker on the cooling system. Would you have any picture of this sticker ?
Would you mind uploading some pictures (if you have them) on those steps ?
I think some people already posted some pictures with disassemble, I don't have them atm. The thermal paste was solidified when I removed it, Support said is solid when components are colder and soft when is warm. When you disassemble you must pay attention to SATA ribbon, is very fragile.
I just bought my new ser6 pro and was lookling for ways to lower the CPU temp. I encountered reddit threads which suggest that disabling the turbo boost and changing the TDP from 35W to 45W can help. I am not a computer guy. Can you explain what these changes do?
For disabling turbo boost, I kinda get it since disabling it will let the CPU limit it's "work" thus generating a lower temp. But what is with the TDP? It seems counter-intuitive for me to increase the TDP when I want my CPU to lower it's temp. Can you please enlighten me how does increasing the TDP setting lower the CPU temp?

PS: For now, I followed some threads here to limit the min and max processing state to 99 instead of 100. Is this the way to disable or limit turbo boost?
Hello, since TDP is higher, CPU will struggle less to work, so temps will be lower, is like a car when you modify software and enable more horsepower, will consume less gas. For disable PBO, I sent you private message.
with 7735hs with the latest Bios (30) i was able to choin TDP 35 (instead 45W)
Temps are quit good. Idle ca. 35 C Stresstest (Cpu-Z) 10 Minutes: 60 C. (after stresstest only 1 Minute to lower 40C)
