Hello, I've read that some people had some issues when they upgraded their M.2 NVME SSD and added a new 2.5 PCle Gen 4 HD. Has anyone upgraded? What brands did you use?

Thank you

I replaced the 500GB Kingston GEN4 NVMe installed in the SER6 PRO with a 2TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus GEN4 NVMe. I also installed a 2TB Crucial BX500 2.5" SSD but it had terrible Write performance, ~50MB/s transfering 1 TB of video files.  The Read performance was still good, ~450MB/s, but it would have taken many hours to transfer the files so I just removed it. I think it was over heating and throttling which is normal for DRAM less drives. My 2TB Crucial MX500 2.5" drive does the same but if you have better cooling it will be less dramatic. If you have small file transfers it wouldn't be an issue. I think it's better to leave out the 2.5" drive for better airflow for the NVME drive and RAM below. Here are my crystal mark results for the Sabrent Rocket.

I got a Crucial P5 Plus 1TB and cloned my 500GB Kingston to it. Booted fine and most things ran OK but many apps got an Applidentity.exe error in parsing. Still working on a work around.
Update: Used a clone tool and did a sector bu sector copy and all is working great.
