Hello.

I've been using this mini PC for about two weeks and am very satisfied with its performance. But I feel that the max temp when under heavy workload e.g. 4K video rendering, running benchmarks etc. can be improved a bit.

I live in a tropical country, so very hot and humid pretty much all year round, and the mini PC temp is getting a bit close to tj.max

So, I was wondering if anyone has looked into changing the factory-applied thermal paste with a better one, maybe Arctic MX4/MX5/MX6 or even liquid metal?
It's nice to be nice.

It's best not to take it apart if it's not overheating. If you are into re-pasting that's cool too. It's a personal choice and I am certain you will make the best determination for yourself. Happy pasting.

Hello.

That's actually sound advice. It's doing everything that I want it to do without thermal throttling, so why put myself through extra work?

Thanks.
